Important Dates

When is an assignment due? When is our next test?

All important dates will be posted on the homework board in the classroom and on our class wiki schedule. It is your responsibility to copy down important dates into your agenda! Schedule some time to finish homework, assignments, and study for tests!

ORGANIZATION WILL BE THE KEY TO SUCCESS IN GRADE 5!

YOUR BINDERS SHOULD HAVE A SET OF DIVIDERS LABELED AS FOLLOWS:

1. UNIT OUTLINE

You will be given a unit outline that gives information about the learning expectations, homework requirements, information to include in your survival guide, and test dates.

2. DAILY CLASS WORK

You must have a three ringed notebook for this section. All daily class work and homework practice questions should be done in this notebook. You are required to date and label each assignment at the top of each page.

3. WORKSHEETS

You will use this section to store all worksheets, in-class assignments, and homework assignments.

4. CHAPTER TASKS

You will complete an assignment at the end of each chapter. This assignment will be handed out near the beginning of the unit so that you will have enough time to complete the assignment.

5. TESTS

You can use this section to keep all of your tests that have been marked.

6. SURVIVAL GUIDE

Attach all of your survival guide pages in this section.
